Campbell Drake’s piece Past and Present is an historical reconstruction of photograph of a 1950s paper boy, Michael Binney. In memorial of times now sadly gone by, on Friday October 19, a printed broadsheet newspaper will be distributed on the steps of Flinders St Station by real paper boys dressed in historical grey dustcoats. The broadsheet newspaper will contain documentation, historical imagery and commissioned editorial investigation of the collective fascination with the station and understandings of the station itself.
